“God Is Under Pressure and So Are We!
Dear Friends in Jesus the Messiah: We greet you in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Messiah! Alma and I are praying for you, and we desire that you walk in all the blessings of the Blood bought chidren of God! Praise the Lord! “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32)
It is very important that we enjoy this time sharing with you. We believe that a big part of our past and continued success is your prayers, and you cannot pray for us effectively without this time of sharing. Thank you so much!
God has a plan for our lives and 2026 is a year of success, especially if we make the pursuit of lost souls the main focus of our ministries and of our lives. Without the lost, there is no purpose for the church on earth today. It would all be over now. We all know that Jesus went to prepare a place for us. What we do not know, in fact, is that the house is now ready, but we have to wait to die to get there because not everyone is home yet. There are homes for them and a placard on the table with their names on it, but they are still lost. How could a good father let everything end when everyone hasn’t heard yet?
Alma and I have heard people say, “Soul winning is not my ministry because I am a prophet and not an evangelist.” What error! First of all, we should not be broadcasting about how powerful we are. Next, everyone was called by God to win the lost! We see people all around us who are locked in misery! Why would we close our eyes and our hearts?
Recently a very famous man and his wife in Hollywood were murdered. That was so sad! But what is even more sad than that is the idea that nobody ever saw that brewing and took the opportunity to reach out and offer a better way. Maybe someone did, but we don’t know!
I will never forget a dear friend who was a missionary to Thailand. He told me that while he was overseas, he was in a restaurant that had a bar in it. In that bar, which was visible from the restaurant, he could see a young lady belly-dancing. He said that the compassion of Jesus reached out at her and he invited her to sit at his table, and he preached Jesus to her and asked her if she would like to receive Him as her Savior. She accepted and he led her in a prayer of salvation, and then gave her his business card and a Bible to take with her and told her to read it. He said that he never thought anymore about it, and a few days later, he received a call from an important telephone number and was asked where he was.
The person calling told him that he was sending a car for him, and asked him to come. He said that a big car came for him, he was escorted to the car and driven to a mansion. He said that he was a little nervous because he didn’t know what this was all about. The car pulled up out front and he was escorted in the house and through a maze of rooms to meet a very important man in that country, and the girl who was the belly dancer was seated at a table, busily studying the Bible that he had given to her. He said that the man got tears in his eyes and told him that he had spent hundreds of US dollars in drug rehab, education, counseling and psychiatrists to help his daughter to be set free from her horrible way of living! She was a daughter of royalty, and yet she was enslaved to drugs and an illicit lifestyle that was killing her and bringing shame on the family.
He said, “I don’t know what you did, but you can see her sitting there, clothed and in her right mind. I have my daughter back, and all she wants to do is to pray and study that book! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. If there is anything that I can do to help you, please let me know. What did you do that had that amazing effect on her?” My friend told me that he preached Jesus to him, and told him that if he wanted to help, to please receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior too! The man prayed with him and he sent him a Bible. The man gave my friend his card and told him to call if he ever needs anything. They became close friends and allies for Jesus.
I feel the deep need to tell you that Jesus is never coming back until all have heard. While we are disputing church doctrine and looking at people in the ministry with a magnifying glass to try to find out what they are up to, the world is going to hell. What must they do to be saved, and what must we do to help them? The primary cry of God’s Heart and the reason we exist on this planet is to bring His children home! Jesus said in the NKJV Bible in Luke 12:50, “But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished!” That baptism that He spoke of is the completion of His Work on the cross, where He bought salvation for us all.
We also have a baptism to be baptized with and we should have pressure on us until it is accomplished. It is the salvation of lost souls. No matter if people are in the gutter or in fortified mansions surrounded by guards and guns, they all are being dealt with by God. Do we care about them, or are we satisfied with life as it is? I promise you that we will not be truly at ease as long as there is one lost person left. Let’s get up off the couch and get busy!
